Seller Fee Schedule

This Fee Schedule shows the commission rates and subscription fees that apply to sellers on TuDu Marketplace. Amounts are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX). The platform uses the lower of your plan commission ceiling and the category rate for each sale.

Growth and Pro monthly fees are charged on your billing date each month. Starter has no monthly fee. Upgrade or downgrade from your billing page.

Commission by category

The effective commission is the lower of your plan ceiling and the category rate. Example below uses an order total of UGX 100,000 before delivery fees.

Example calculation

For a UGX 100,000 fashion order on the Pro plan, the category rate is 8% but the Pro ceiling is 3%, so the effective rate is 3%. Platform fee: UGX 3,000. Seller payout: UGX 97,000. For a phones order on Starter, the category rate is 2.5%, which is below the Starter ceiling, so the effective rate is 2.5%.

General notes

Baseline escrow calculation uses a 6% default rate (ADR-005) when no category override applies.
Commission is calculated as Math.round(order total × effective rate) at escrow release.
Buyer payment processing fees are absorbed by TuDu on standard checkout.
Commission on fully refunded orders is credited back on the next payout cycle.
TuDu may update this schedule with 30 days notice to registered sellers.
