How to pay with MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money on TuDu, including USSD prompts, confirmation times, and troubleshooting.
TuDu accepts MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money for standard checkout. Enter the mobile number registered with your wallet at checkout. You will receive a USSD prompt or in app approval request on your phone to confirm the payment.
After you place your order, TuDu initiates the mobile money collection through our payment partner. Approve the prompt on your phone within the time limit shown. Once approved, your order is confirmed and the seller is notified. Your payment is held in TuDu Secure Pay escrow until you confirm receipt.
TuDu does not add platform fees for mobile money checkout. Any standard provider transaction charges on buyer payments are absorbed by TuDu for normal orders.
Check that your phone has network coverage and that the number entered matches your registered mobile money account. Wait up to two minutes, then retry payment from your order page. If the issue continues, contact support with your order reference.
Mobile money confirmations are usually instant. Check Account, then My Orders. If the order is missing, submit a support request with your payment reference, amount, and time of payment.
The number should belong to the person paying. Using an unregistered or third party number may cause the provider to reject the transaction.
Yes. Online mobile money payments use TuDu Secure Pay. Funds are released only after you confirm receipt, a dispute is resolved, or the auto release window closes after confirmed delivery.
