Tier 1: Unverified
New sellers after registration with basic dashboard access. Listing limits may apply until you complete phone verification.
Tier 2: Phone Verified
Confirm your Ugandan mobile number with a one time password. Improves buyer confidence and unlocks standard selling features.
Tier 3: ID Verified
Submit National ID, passport, or driving licence. TuDu verifies against the NIRA registry through our partner. TuDu stores only a one way hash of your NIN, not the full ID number.
Tier 4: Trusted Seller
Earned when you maintain a rating of 4.5 or above, response rate of 90 percent or above, at least 50 completed sales, and no unresolved disputes in the past 90 days.
Where do I complete verification?
Open Seller Dashboard, then Verification. Follow the prompts for phone OTP and document upload.
Why was my ID verification rejected?
Common reasons include blurry photos, expired documents, or name mismatch with your shop registration. Resubmit clear images matching your payout beneficiary name.
